In order to qualify for SSDI in California, you must:

  • No longer have the ability to work because of your physical and/or mental disability.
  • You cannot adjust to new or different types of work.

What is the Process for Getting SSDI Benefits in California?

You can fill out your form online, which will allow you to start the process immediately, or call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 to make an appointment to apply either over the phone or at your local office.

Calling us before you start this process will ensure you have an experienced professional helping you fill out and file your forms correctly, giving you your best chance at being accepted.

If your claim was denied, don’t lose hope! Our team can help you appeal your denied claim up to 60 days after it was denied.
